An interesting fact about Emilly is that she has flown a four-seater plane, yes, in the actual sky, and she has an obsession with exotic animals.
Her favorite subject is AP Macroeconomics because it helped her understand how countries, money, and markets work and why everything suddenly becomes more expensive when she wants to buy it. The most challenging assignments for her have been Research projects, as she initially underestimated how difficult it would be to follow strict formatting and academic standards. Through the process, she learned to adapt and overcome those challenges. She believes Microeconomics and Macroeconomics will prepare her the most for life after high school because she plans to pursue a career in that field.
Outside of school, Emilly has participated in several extracurricular activities and enjoys exploring her interests beyond the classroom. Her most memorable moments at AUPPHS-FA include spending time with friends in class, joking and laughing while working through assignments together, and sharing snacks from different countries that classmates brought back after holidays.
After graduating from AUPPHS-FA, Emilly plans to continue her education by pursuing both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees. Her goal is to build a successful career, achieve financial independence, and support her family. Her advice to juniors at AUPPHS-FA: “Just make it exist first. You can make it good later.”
