What is PowerSchool?
AUPP High School-Foxcroft Academy began using PowerSchool for the 2020-2021 academic year, primarily because we believe strongly that parents and students deserve to be well-informed about academic progress. PowerSchool is the fastest-growing, most widely used web-based student information system. PowerSchool enables AUPPHS-FA educators to make timely decisions that impact student performance while creating a collaborative environment for parents, teachers, and students to work together in preparing 21st-century learners for the future.
One of PowerSchool’s many features is its “web portal”. With internet access and a modern web browser, parents and student(s) can connect to our system to get assignment and attendance information. Instructions to set up the account and access PowerSchool were emailed to students. The account will be shared between parents and students. If you are having trouble accessing your PowerSchool account, please call 023 902 111 and ask for technical support.
When you sign into the web portal, you’ll see a list of students’ courses. You will notice that a grade is presented for that course (more on that in a moment) and that clicking on the grade will link to a list of assignments and the grade for those assignments.
Parents and students can access student academic performances via PowerSchool by using the same link. Parents will be able to login into their children’s accounts by using the student credential information.
Our goal in opening the web portal is for parents and student(s) to be able to keep up with attendance and student progress on individual assignments.
We hope parents and student(s) will take advantage of the PowerSchool web portal. It provides a shared and up-to-date knowledge base on student performance. Let’s use that power together to improve student academic performance!
