An interesting fact about Sonakun is that he plays the piano and badminton.
His favorite subjects are Macroeconomics and Microeconomics, which he finds very engaging. He enjoys learning about how the world, markets, and money work. The most challenging assignment for him was the research paper, as it required covering and analyzing a large amount of content. He believes that Microeconomics and Macroeconomics will be especially useful for his future since he plans to major in business.
Outside of school, Sonakun continues to play badminton and piano. His most memorable time at AUPPHS-FA was during Grade 10, which he describes as an amazing year overall.
After graduating from AUPPHS-FA, he plans to continue his studies at the American University of Phnom Penh (AUPP) while working. His advice to juniors at AUPPHS-FA: “Don’t slack off, you will be under insane pressure.”
