Senior Student Highlight: Sok Cheasing

Sok Cheasing (Academic Year 2025-2026) – Stress, slow, tiring

Favorite Quote: “If school hurts, friends heal.”

An interesting fact about Cheasing is that he enjoys art, volleyball, and ice skating.

His favorite subjects are AP Microeconomics and AP Macroeconomics. He especially enjoys Microeconomics because of the fun teacher and the interesting content. The most challenging assignment for him was the Research paper, as it required a lot of time, reading, and effort. He believes Microeconomics prepares him best for life after high school because it helps him understand how the economy works and how things function beyond the classroom.

Outside of school, Cheasing joined the volleyball club and participated in many community service activities, including volunteering and charity runs. One of his most memorable experiences at AUPPHS-FA was making his own food and presenting it in Health class during Grade 10.

After graduating from AUPPHS-FA, Cheasing plans to study architecture in Australia, secure a good job, and live a comfortable life.

His advice to juniors at AUPPHS-FA: “Even when you feel disappointed that you’re not as gifted as others, as long as you try hard, strive to be good and commit, anything is achievable.”
