Piseth Dana’s favorite subjects are AP Microeconomics and AP Macroeconomics because they allow her to connect classroom learning to real-world economic issues like Trump’s tariffs and economic sanctions.
The most challenging assignment for her was the Research Capstone, which pushed her to her absolute limits. However, she’s grateful for the experience, knowing that university will be even more demanding.
She believes the Research course has prepared her best for life after high school, as she plans to pursue a major that involves extensive research at university.
During her time at AUPPHS-FA, Piseth Dana participated in debate competitions and Model United Nations (MUN). Some of her favorite memories include finally being able to relax with her friends after AP exams were over.
After graduation, she plans to continue her studies at university. Her advice to juniors at AUPPHS-FA: “Dont waste your high school years – make the most of it”
