An interesting fact about Pichvantey is that she strongly values balance—work hard, chill hard. Her favorite subject at AUPPHS-FA is AP Economics because it has taught her how the world works. She can now spot economic concepts in daily life and factor them into her future decision-making.
One of the most challenging assignments for her was in AP Physics, a tough subject requiring deep conceptual understanding, quick thinking, and strong problem-solving skills. She believes Research Capstone has prepared her most for university life, as it involves extensive reading, analysis, and provides a solid foundation for undergraduate research and real-world experience.
Pichvantey’s most memorable moment at AUPPHS-FA was during exam season, when students gathered to either study—or collectively panic. She joined both the Newsletter Club and Literature Club because of her love for reading and writing, and she’s even used her debating skills in community service.
After graduation, she plans to pursue a degree abroad. Her advice to juniors: “Learn to appreciate the ups and downs. Time flies, so use it wisely doing things your future self will thank you for.”
