An interesting fact about Patrick is that when he becomes passionate about something or finds something he truly loves, he goes all in and often becomes completely absorbed in it, his motivation instantly skyrockets.
His favorite subjects are AP Microeconomics and AP Macroeconomics because he finds them highly engaging. He enjoys studying decision-making and theories about firms, especially since many of the concepts can be applied to everyday life. Another highlight of these classes is Mr. Radley, whom he describes as an excellent and genuinely wholesome teacher who makes the subject even more enjoyable. The most challenging assignment for Patrick was the Research Capstone project, as he finds the heavy reading, writing, researching, and citing to be particularly draining. He believes that Microeconomics and Macroeconomics prepare him best for life after high school, as they teach decision-making skills he can use both in business and in daily life.
Outside of school, Patrick helps with his father’s business, has solid badminton skills, and has a strong love for music. Some of his most memorable moments at AUPPHS-FA include Halloween and Christmas during the 2024–2025 school year, as well as Halloween 2025–2026.
After graduating from AUPPHS-FA, Patrick plans to follow his passions and dreams while staying closely connected with his friends. He isn’t the type to plan his life far in advance, he has many interests and prefers to see where life takes him.
His advice to juniors at AUPPHS-FA: “The people you surround yourself with are extremely important; it’s arguably one of the greatest things a school can offer. Once you find your trusted circle of people, you’re set for life. You’ll be truly happy.”
