Mann Sereyratana (Academic Year 2025-2026) – Exhausting, Challenging, Memorable
Favorite Quote: ” Everything you lose is a step you take.” – Taylor Swift
An interesting fact about Sereyratana is that she really loves red bean. She has had poor eyesight and has worn glasses since she was little. Although she may seem quiet at first, she is quite outgoing once people start talking to her.
Her favorite subject is Human Geography because it helped her understand how people and places are connected and allowed her to see the world from a different perspective. She also enjoys Physics, even though it can be challenging, she finds it fun to work through the problems. The most difficult assignment for her has been the Research Capstone, as it required extensive reading and research. She often had to review her work repeatedly, which was stressful, but it ultimately helped her grow and learn a lot. She believes Human Geography prepares her most for life after high school because it provides a broader understanding of how the world functions and how people and places interact in real life.
Outside of school, Sereyratana has participated in several marathons. Although she does not consider herself a strong runner, she joins them for fun and to stay active. Her most memorable moments at AUPPHS-FA are spending time with friends during lunch or breaks, talking about random things and sharing laughter.
After graduating from AUPPHS-FA, Sereyratana plans to continue pursuing higher education, travel the world with her family, and make them proud. Her advice to juniors at AUPPHS-FA: “Don’t wait until the last minute to do your work.”
