An interesting fact about Leangsrun is that as a child, he was fascinated by cars—he loved watching cool cars and learning how they worked. His favorite subject during his time at AUPPHS-FA was Khmer History, because he found it captivating, and as a proud Cambodian, he believed it was important to understand his own nation’s past.
He found the Capstone project to be one of the most challenging parts of high school, mainly because he was afraid of giving presentations. However, he shared that English was the subject that best prepared him for life after high school, as it enables him to communicate with people from all over the world.
His favorite memory from school was bonding with his friends and building lasting connections. After graduation, he plans to attend university.
His advice to his juniors at AUPPHS-FA is this: “What makes high school fun is the journey itself—and finishing it is the happy ending.
