Jacky Eng (Academic Year 2025-2026) – Stressful, Ecstatic, Dreadful

An interesting fact about him is that he enjoys living a relaxed and balanced lifestyle. He likes spending time with friends, studying together, and making the most of every moment. He believes that you only have one life, so it is important to enjoy it, have fun when you can, and work hard when you need to. His personal motto is: “Do good, die great.”
His favorite subjects are Pre-Calculus, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, and U.S. History. The most challenging assignment for Jacky was the Research Paper, while Statistics was the most challenging subject overall. He believes that Statistics is the subject that will prepare him most for life after high school because data analysis and statistical skills are increasingly important in many careers today.
His most memorable moment at AUPPHS-FA was the Japan Trip in 2024, where he created unforgettable memories with his classmates and teachers.
After graduating from AUPPHS-FA, Jacky plans to move to Malaysia to continue his studies and begin building his career. However, if his parents decide otherwise, he is open to studying in the United States. His advice to juniors at AUPPHS-FA: “Even at your lowest, never give up. Though you’re failing, it doesn’t mean you’ll fail in the end. It’s not about how you start; it’s about how you end up.”
