An interesting fact about Chan Usa is that he has a strong desire to learn new things and enjoys trying out different experiences. Whether it’s exploring a new topic or joining an exciting adventure, he loves every moment—especially when it involves sports. One of his favorite subjects at AUPPHS-FA is Economics because he appreciates his teacher’s kindness and effective teaching methods. He believes that when a teacher is nice, students are more likely to enjoy the subject.

Chan Usa also sees Economics as the subject that will best prepare him for life after high school, as it is his intended major. He values the way Economics teaches essential skills like critical thinking and financial literacy, which are crucial for making informed decisions in the real world. The most challenging project for him was a research assignment, where he had to conduct extensive research, write everything himself, and present it to the class. Although it was tough, the experience helped him improve his skills and build confidence.

During his time at AUPPHS-FA, Chan Usa has been actively involved in extracurricular activities, including music, sports, and community service. These experiences have helped him develop new skills and connect with different people. One of his favorite things to do is walk around campus, chatting with friends and teachers. He appreciates how approachable everyone is, making it easy to ask questions or have casual conversations. He also enjoys playing sports with his friends during break times, seeing it as a fun way to stay active and strengthen friendships. Most importantly, he values the sense of safety he feels at school, as it creates a positive environment where he can be himself and thrive.

After graduation, Chan Usa plans to pursue a degree in Economics to deepen his understanding of the subject and prepare for a career in public policy. One of the most valuable lessons he has learned at AUPPHS-FA is to keep trying, even when things get tough. He wants to encourage his juniors to “never give up on their dreams.” No matter the challenges, he believes that with hard work and focus, success is within reach.
