Ms. Elizabeth Shayne Watt

Grade 7 & Grade 9 English Teacher

Elizabeth has worked as an international English and Humanities educator over the past 18 years in schools worldwide. She has also contributed to local communities as a volunteer in several educational contexts. She has designed teacher training and curriculum development programs for both international schools and grassroots organizations in Myanmar.

Her teaching experiences have strengthened her conviction in the potential for education to overcome disadvantage. Whilst she acknowledges that the implementation of equitable education outcomes is a collective responsibility, she appreciates her role in delivering quality education to international students in Phnom Penh. In addition to classroom teaching, she enjoys studying creative writing at Curtin University in Perth, Western Australia.

Elizabeth holds a both a Bachelor of Arts (English Literature & Social Studies)/Bachelor of Education (Secondary), and a Master of Education specializing in International Education from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia.
