Ms. Belen is from the Philippines but has lived and worked in Southeast Asia for many years. She holds a Bachelor of Secondary Education in Mathematics and received her TESOL certification in Cambodia from the Philippine International Communicators.

Ms. Belen has been teaching for almost 13 years in various international schools in Asia and for different age groups. She believes that education should be partially self-directed allowing students to pursue specific interests, and to nurture a student’s potential with encouragement and mutual respect. Ms. Belen’s classroom will be one where students feel safe and comfortable asking as many questions as necessary.

In Ms. Belen’s Leisure time, she enjoys travelling and discovering wonderful new places. She loves music and documentary stories.
