
Mr. Jose Santos is an educator with experience teaching secondary and adult learners in diverse academic settings. He has worked with multicultural and international students throughout East Asia, as well as exchange students from English-speaking countries. His teaching areas include Computer Science, Design & Technology, Computational Thinking, and ICT-related subjects, supported by a background in mathematics and business education.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Wesleyan University – Philippines and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from AMA University. He has also earned academic units toward a Doctor of Business Administration at Colegio de San Juan de Letran and a Master in Engineering Education at Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology. In addition, he earned his Professional Teaching Certification from the University of the Philippines Open University and holds teaching licenses in both Thailand and the Philippines.
Mr. Santos has held academic leadership roles as Subject Area Coordinator in Thailand and Department Chair and Academic Head in the Philippines. With experience in curriculum development, he has designed computing curricula and syllabi for secondary and higher education institutions in Thailand, Cambodia, and the Philippines. He also served as a Regional Quality Assessment Team Member for the Philippine Commission on Higher Education (CHED Region 3) in the Computer Engineering program and as a part-time lecturer at Burapha University International College in Thailand.
Outside the classroom, Mr. Santos enjoys exploring emerging educational technologies, designing digital learning materials, and participating in professional teacher development communities. In his free time, he enjoys watching films, listening to music, and viewing travel vlogs—activities that broaden his cultural perspective and enrich his teaching practice. He also has a passion for traveling to countries with diverse cultures and scenic destinations, and he enjoys collecting die-cast model airplanes and resin statues of iconic characters.
