Dr. Muthukumaran Pakkirisamy

Dr. Pakkirisamy earned his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Tamil University, India in 2014. He has nearly 10 years of experience in teaching and research in biological science, facilitating student research projects, quality assurance (Chemical), operation of hi-tech analytical instrumentation (HPLC, GC-MS, ICP-OES, FTIR, NMR, electrophoresis techniques), phytochemical analysis, microbial techniques, water quality testing, food, and dairy product analysis, anti-ulcer studies (both acute and chronic models), anti-inflammatory studies (both acute and chronic models), anti-diabetic studies in alloxan-induced diabetic rats, anti-diarrhoeal studies (both acute and chronic models), various toxicological studies, and nanoparticle synthesis from medicinal plants.
Before joining AUPP, he served as an assistant professor at DMI-St Eugene University, Zambia-Africa. He has published more than 35 research articles in reputed journals, 3 books, and is a presenter at national seminars and international conferences. Dr. Pakkirisamy is serving as editor-in-chief, associate editor, reviewer, and editorial board member for various national and international journals. He is also a member of various national and international professional organizations such as HKCBEES and IAENG, a senior member in the Asia Society of Researchers, and a life member in the Scientific Planet Society.
