Chea Chan Boromey (Academic Year 2025-2026) – Stressful, eventful, amusing
Favorite Quote: “To be cringe is to be free.”
An interesting fact about Boramey is that she enjoys drawing and spending time with her friends in her free time.
Her favorite subject is Human Geography with Ms. Gemma because she makes learning enjoyable, and Boramey finds it fascinating to learn about the many things happening around the world. The most challenging assignment for Boramey is AP Chemistry lab reports because they constantly test her skills and understanding. They require a strong foundation of knowledge, close attention to detail when following procedures, and the ability to clearly explain and analyze results, which makes writing them particularly challenging.
One of Boramey’s most memorable moments at AUPPHS-FA was presenting her robotics project, a buzz wire game, at the Grade 10 STEM Fair. Although the project was challenging, she successfully completed it alongside her teammate, Katz.
After graduating from AUPPHS-FA, Boramey plans to stay in Cambodia for a year before moving to Australia. She is still exploring her options and has not yet decided which schools she will attend. Her advice to juniors at AUPPHS-FA: “It’s better to fail while trying than to fail without trying.”
