Sim Yeoukhav (Academic Year 2025-2026) – bittersweet, unforgettable, exciting

An interesting fact about him is that he is always eager to learn new languages and pick up new skills. He enjoys working with people from different backgrounds and values learning from their perspectives.
His favorite subject is AP Calculus because he finds it both fun and challenging. He especially appreciates that the teacher is friendly and approachable, which makes it possible to enjoy the class while learning at the same time. The most challenging assignment for Yeoukhav was Research because it required a great deal of effort and careful source selection to avoid using inaccurate information. He believes the subjects that will prepare him most for life after high school are AP Calculus and AP Microeconomics because they involve critical thinking and communication skills, which he believes will be valuable in the future.
Outside of school, Yeoukhav participates in sports and occasionally helps with his family business. His most memorable moment at AUPPHS-FA was sitting at the playground with his group of friends and relaxing together.
After graduating from AUPPHS-FA, Yeoukhav plans to explore new hobbies and meet new people. His advice to juniors at AUPPHS-FA: “Don’t procrastinate. If you have work to do, complete it early instead of waiting until the day before the deadline.”
