Senior Student Highlight: Libza Li

Libza Li  (Academic Year 2025-2026) – Are you serious?

Favorite Quote: ” When we’re growing up, there are all sorts of people telling us what to do when really what we need is space to work out who to be.” – Elliot Page

An interesting fact about Libza is that she is adventurous and loves to challenge herself. She often puts herself in situations where she doesn’t fully know her capabilities, which helps her discover her true potential.

Her favorite subjects are Economics classes, as they focus on money and resources, which align with her interests. She also enjoyed the engaging activities that made lessons easier to understand and more memorable. The most challenging assignment for her was the Research Paper, as it requires a lot of time and involves multiple complex steps before reaching the final draft. From finding reliable sources and creating annotated bibliographies to writing literature reviews and organizing ideas, each stage demands critical thinking. She believes that Research will prepare her the most for life after high school because it trains her to write formal documents, use credible sources, and cite references properly. Learning to use tools like Turnitin is also an important skill for college.

Outside of school, Libza has participated in several Model United Nations (MUN) conferences. She also worked as a logistics officer for two major fun run projects and as an operations manager for a startup organization. In addition, she was a member of the volleyball club for two years. Her most memorable moments at AUPPHS-FA come from her junior year, especially the field trip, where she bonded with supportive classmates, explored new places, and created unforgettable memories together.

After graduating from AUPPHS-FA, Libza plans to study abroad in China to experience a new culture, continue her education, and grow both academically and personally. Her advice to juniors at AUPPHS-FA: “You’re not falling behind; you just have your own timeline. Always put forth your best effort, and the best opportunities will find their way to you.”
