Sovann Monireaj (Academic Year 2025-2026) – No computer science

An interesting fact about Monireaj is that he has helped write and edit an online novel with a friend. He enjoys Computer Science because he likes coding and programming. The most challenging assignment for him was the 9th-grade English final project, as it was the first time he was tested on his researching and reporting capabilities. He believes that Math and Computer Science are relevant to him because he wishes to pursue game development or IT work after high school.
Outside of academics, Monireaj has been involved in organizing and participating in multiple community service events. I also tried learning game development during my time over the summer. This experience taught him the importance of connecting with people and that time is often more valuable than monetary gain. His favorite memory at AUPPHS-FA was having fun during his computer science class.
After graduation, he plans to pursue game development and get into a good college for programming and computer science. His advice to juniors at AUPPHS-FA: “One must always be patient when it comes to their teachers.”
