Mr. Dawabi has always had a passion for science and technology, which has guided me through over 10 years of teaching experience. He studied Nursing in the medical field and later earned his bachelor’s degree in information technology from the University of the East – Manila, one of the top UAAP schools in the Philippines.
He has had a chance to teach Computer Science and Robotics in Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, and now here in Cambodia. He loves helping students understand how technology works and how they can use it to build, create, and solve real world problems. Over the years, he has also served as a judge in various national STEAM and robotics competitions, which has allowed him to stay connected with the latest trends in innovation and student creativity.
Outside of teaching, he has always been fascinated by space and astrophysics. As a kid, he dreamed of becoming an astronaut, and that dream still inspires him today. He is currently taking an online course in rocket science at Yale University. When he is not teaching or studying, he enjoys reading, boxing, and finding new ways to learn and grow.
He believes learning never stops. As Albert Einstein said, “True intelligence lies in the ability to question, explore, and connect ideas.” That’s the mindset he brings to the classroom and hope to pass on to his students.
