Molika Thily (Academic Year 2024-2025) – Procrastination, learned, Crash out.
Favorite Quote: “I gave my blood, sweat, and tears for this.”
An interesting fact about Molika is that she once helped primary school students get home safely after her own classes—quietly doing community service without expecting recognition. It reflects her kind nature and strong sense of responsibility, even when no one is watching.
Her favorite subject is Computer Science, which she finds both fun and challenging, especially with a great teacher. The most challenging subject for her has been Calculus, as it requires lots of practice and memorization.
She believes Chemistry has prepared her best for life after high school because it teaches her to think critically, solve problems step by step, and understand the world around her. These skills are useful in daily life and essential for careers in healthcare.
During her time at AUPPHS-FA, Molika participated in a community service event where she picked up trash along the riverside with her friends and teacher. It was a meaningful experience that allowed her to care for the environment while bonding with people she values. Her fondest memory is the Khmer New Year celebration.
After graduation, she plans to study nursing abroad so she can help others while building a strong and meaningful career.
Her advice to juniors at AUPPHS-FA: “Communication is key. Whether it’s group projects, making friends, or asking for help, knowing how to express yourself clearly and respectfully makes everything easier and builds stronger connections.”
