Ms. Thimali Nuwandhini Dharmkee

Mathematics & Science Teacher

Ms. Thimali is a citizen of Sri Lanka with a master’s degree in Applied Microbiology from the University of Kelaniya. She also holds a BSc (Honours) special degree in Aquatic Resources Technology from Uva Wellassa University, Sri Lanka.

For the past two years, Mrs Dharmakeerthi has been teaching Science subjects at an international school in Phnom Penh, where she also mentored students for innovative science competitions. Prior to this role, she served as an assistant lecturer at a Sri Lankan University, where she taught undergraduate students and supported their academic and research development.

Her professional experiences include working as an Assistant Manager at an environmental NGO in Sri Lanka, where she managed financial and programmatic activities, conducted research on marine ecosystems, specifically mangroves, and has experience as a Research and Program Officer, focusing on related research themes. Thimali has also completed the Managerial Level of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) qualification and presented science research at several international conferences.

In her leisure time, she enjoys watching movies and traveling to experience the cultures of different nationalities. Her dedication lies in fostering a deep appreciation for science in her students and supporting their growth as future leaders in their fields.
