Ms. Liya Jolly

Mathematics Teacher, STEAM: Civil Engineering Teacher

Ms. Liya is the Calculus, Pre-Calculus, and STEAM instructor at AUPP High School-Foxcroft Academy (AUPPHS-FA). She majored in Civil Engineering and had experience teaching International Bachelorette, Cambridge, and AP courses. She enjoys teaching Calculus, Mechanics, and Physics. She started her career as a Structural Engineer. Later, embarked on the path of teaching to share her knowledge.

Ms. Liya always motivates her students to do their best and express their potential. As a teacher, she takes herself as a catalyst who has the opportunity to stimulate curiosity and inspire learning.

Over her years of teaching, she found that students are quite perceptive, and if they sense that you are authentic, they tend to respond positively and become more engaged.

“Education is under pressure to respond to a changing world. As repetitive tasks are eroded by technology and outsourcing, the ability to solve novel problems has become increasingly vital,” education writer Jeevan Vasagar asserts in a Financial Times Article.

Through our STEAM education, we are equipping students with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in the 21st century. This encourages them to bring out their creativity, develop innovative mindsets, and have the ability to problem-solve, ensuring that our students become creators of technology, not just passive consumers.

In short, at AUPPHS-FA, we are producing tomorrow’s designers and engineers with our project-based learning approach.
