Mr. Rom Uddamvithiyea received his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northumbria University in Singapore in 2019 and his Master of Engineering degree (Mechanical and Aerospace) from the University of Melbourne in Australia in 2021.
During his study in Australia, he was assigned to Aerodynamics team at Melbourne University Racing Motorsports Formula SAE where he had to test and validate the overall performance of the vehicle with the aerodynamic components. He was also one of aerodynamic engineering team members at Aerospace & Rocket Engineering Society at the University of Melbourne. His role was to create Computational Fluid Dynamics to have an optimized design of the rocket which was expected to launch up to 10,000 ft.
Mr. Uddamvithiyea is currently working as a satellite specialist at Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications, and he is also a lecturer and engineering lab manager at other private university.
